Your Mission

As theDirector (f/m/d) Finance Technology & AI you will shape the future of our financial landscape. You will be the strategic mind behind our finance technology roadmap integrating artificial intelligence and automation into our core processes and ensuring that our finance teams are empowered for maximum efficiency and precise decision-making through innovative solutions. Your mission is to position BMG at the forefront of digital finance transformation creating measurable value through technology.

What Youll Be Doing

• Strategic Leadership:
  • Define and own the financial technology strategy with a primary focus on AI automation and advanced analytics.
  • Anticipate and respond to future trends in finance and technology positioning the organization as a leader in digital finance transformation.
  • Develop a roadmap for transitioning from current-state technologies to a future operating model where AI & automation play a central role.
• Technology Transformation:
  • Lead the design implementation and integration of AI and automation technologies across finance processes.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration with planning reporting and data teams to leverage automation for improved decision-making and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to replace legacy reporting products with AI-driven and automated solutions.
• Business Responsibility:
  • Act as the key business owner of AI & automation within finance ensuring that technological solutions directly reflect and enable business needs.
  • Define business requirements success criteria and KPIs for automation initiatives.
  • Ensure that finance stakeholders including end users benefit directly from AI-driven insights and efficiency gains.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management:
  • Partner with senior leadership IT and business teams to align financial technology initiatives with corporate strategy.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption and understanding of new technologies within finance and the wider organization.
  • Serve as the primary advocate for AI & automation in finance promoting education trust and adoption among end users.
• Governance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance security and ethical standards in deploying AI and automation solutions.
  • Establish governance frameworks for data usage automation reliability and AI model integrity.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive experience in the strategic leadership and implementation of finance technology initiatives ideally with a strong focus on AI and automation.
• Proven ability to lead complex technology transformations within a large organization.
• Deep understanding of finance processes and their optimization potential through technology.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
• Experience in change management and fostering the adoption of new technologies.
• A university degree in Finance Computer Science Business Informatics or a related field.
