Our common goal
We are seeking a Business Development Manager Southeast Asia (Airport Segment) who will drive Vitras footprint in one of the fastest-growing aviation regions of the world. This position requires close collaboration with the Global Head of Airports HQ and regional Business Development teams while actively engaging directly with key external stakeholders across the region.
What you can expect
- Build grow and convert a qualified Southeast Asia airport project pipeline in alignment with global strategy.
- Map and qualify Southeast Asia airport infrastructure projects and monitor regional trends.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities operators A&D networks and key regional partners.
- Secure early entry into tenders (from RFI/RFP stage) and shape project specifications.
- Prepare clear and compelling business cases for tender participation (win/nobid logic pricing guardrails).
- Represent Vitra in customer meetings authority negotiations and project presentations.
- Coordinate closely with the Global Head of Airports and HQ teams to ensure strategic alignment.
- Track and report pipeline tender conversion rates and project progress (Salesforce / Power BI).
- Manage external Business Development partners and build local dealer networks to expand market reach.
- Ensure compliance with Vitras brand design integrity and regulatory requirements during project cycles.
- Support crossfunctional alignment with Marketing Product Management Operations and Finance.
How you can convince
- Proven experience in business development or strategic sales ideally within airport infrastructure or largescale project environments.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to engage senior authorities and strategic partners.
- Excellent networker with experience building relationships across public and private stakeholders.
- Technical affinity and ability to understand specifications regulatory frameworks and complex project requirements.
- Experience managing tenders preparing business cases and driving pipeline visibility.
- Strong communication and presentation skills confident representative of Vitra in international contexts.
- Proficiency in CRM and analytics tools (Salesforce Power BI); SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional Southeast Asia languages beneficial.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Southeast Asia regiProactive structured and impactdriven mindset with the ability to work independently.
