Job Summary
Overview
Please note this position is always open and we seek to hire for each semester
Tutor Chemistry to students on all levels.
Responsibilities
Tutor students individually or in small groups. Review materials covered in class.
Review homework assignments.
Prepare students for exams.
Attend workshops to enhance tutorial skills.
Communicate with instructors regarding student deficiencies and progress.
Keep daily record of students tutored and materials utilized. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Reference statement from Chemistry Department Chair.
EducationPreparationand Training.
Degree not required.
At least Excellent grades in Chemistry.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to relate to students.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel Power Point Outlook.
