Supports continuous EEG and video monitoring by observing patients recognizing clinical events and promptly alerting clinical staff to ensure timely response and accurate documentation. Maintains patient safety assists technologists and supports highquality neurodiagnostic care.
Essential Functions:
- Continuously monitors patients undergoing cEEG recording for safety either in room or via remote video monitoring. May document observations.
- Alerts nursing or technologist staff and supervisor or activates appropriate hospital systems per established protocols when clinical seizures paroxysmal events or other clinical issues occur.
- May communicate with patients and bedside staff to obtain information about events.
- May assist Neurodiagnostic technologists as needed including restocking supplies electrode removal and disinfection.
- Maintains ongoing competence by completing hospital trainings and attending relevant educational offerings.
Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Skills:
Working knowledge of monitoring system and camera controls.

OCCASIONALLY: Blood and/or Bodily Fluids Decision Making Interpreting Data Lifting / Carrying: 61-100 lbs Problem solving Pushing / Pulling: 100 lbs or greater with assistance
