Job Summary
The Role
Our client a specialist in fabrication and mechanical assembly is seeking a Trade Assistant to start immediately. You will provide hands-on support across forklift operations deliveries hydro assembly and workshop tasks ensuring efficiency and safety at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Forklift licence loading/unloading trucks moving items hydro assembly (forklift jib)
- Manual car licence with reliable transport pickups & deliveries in a work ute
- Strong attention to detail organisation and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously or in a team
- Exceptional work ethic and commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good communication skills
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
Desirable
- Experience in hydro assembly & disassembly packing
- Fabrication workshop experience
- Operation of band saws and other electric hand tools
