About the Role
The Site Assistant will provide hands-on support in maintaining the school buildings grounds and facilities assisting the Site Manager and premises team to ensure a safe and well-presented environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with site opening and closing duties
Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs
Monitoring health and safety compliance
Supporting room setups for lessons exams and events
Supervising contractors and deliveries
Responding to on-site emergencies and incidents
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in facilities maintenance or caretaking
Basic DIY and repair skills
Knowledge of health and safety procedures
Reliable proactive and organised
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safeguarding and site security
