AI Transformation Engineer to Bjorn Lunden

Bjorn Lunden is investing in a new role to strengthen how AI automation and data are used across the company. As an AI Transformation Engineer the focus will be on working hands-on with improving internal processes and turning real business needs into practical data-driven solutions.

This role is about making everyday work smarter more efficient and less manual. It combines technology and business understanding to create tangible improvements across the organization.

About the role
In this role you will improve how the organization works by leveraging AI automation and data. The focus is on reducing manual work increasing quality and creating smarter more scalable processes.

The position involves close collaboration with teams across the company to understand current ways of working identify inefficiencies and translate real business needs into practical solutions.

The role is part of the internal IT department a team of 10 colleagues responsible for internal systems and digital capabilities. While organizationally placed within IT much of the work takes place in the business collaborating with different functions and driving improvements where they make the greatest impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining the companys data platform in Microsoft Fabric

• Ensuring reliable and structured data for reporting and future AI initiatives

• Collaborating with the BI Developer from data ingestion to insights in Power BI

• Supporting reporting and other data-driven improvement initiatives when needed

This is the first role of its kind within the organization. The roadmap is still evolving offering a real opportunity to influence how AI and automation capabilities are shaped over time.

The position is full-time and permanent based in Gothenburg Hudiksvall Näsviken or Stockholm.

Your profile
Bjorn Lunden is looking for someone who is curious analytical and motivated by improving how things work.

The ideal candidate likely has:

• Practical experience working with AI tools in a business context

• Experience with SQL and relational databases

• Experience with data integration transformation or ETL/ELT processes

• A solid understanding of data modelling and structured data environments

• An interest in developing skills within Microsoft Fabric

It is considered an advantage to also have experience with:

• Power BI or another BI tool

• Python Apache Spark Power Query or DAX

• Cloud-based data platforms

Most importantly the right person enjoys working close to the business asking questions challenging routines and helping others adopt new tools and smarter ways of working.
