Primary Role:
Substitute Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in supporting student learning. Under the guidance of a certified teacher they provide instructional assistance and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with individual students or groups of students on specialized instructional projects.
Assist teachers by providing valuable student insights that enhance learning and behavioral strategies.
Support students in utilizing instructional resources and help develop learning materials.
Utilize personal skills and abilities in areas such as foreign languages arts crafts and music to enrich instructional programs.
Provide assistance with related instructional activities as needed.
Support students with health-related tasks when appropriate.
Adheres to the West Irondequoit Code of Conduct.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
