Job Summary
Overview
Adjunct is responsible for instruction course preparation developing instructional materials grading and assessment and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of NY LINKS.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
- Develop schemes of work lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
- Masters degree required
- Master of Arts preferred
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills Touro University emphasizes excellent teaching in a student-focused undergraduate environment
- Ability to employ technology such as Zoom
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint & Outlook
