We are excited to announce multiple Clinical Adjunct Teaching opportunitiesfor ourHartford CT BSN campus.
These are on-site in-person teaching assignments beginning on or after August 31 2026.
Teaching opportunities include:
- Med Surg Clinicals
- Mental Health Clinicals
Nursing Adjunct Faculty support student achievement of course objectives while modeling Arizona College of Nursings values of Passion Adaptability Accountability Integrity and Excellence.
Responsibilities may include:
- Teach and evaluate students in a clinical setting;lab/simulation and/or didactic opportunities may be available on occasion
- Create an engaging learning environment that supports academic progression and professional socialization
- Assess student learning provide timely feedback and support remediation of at-risk students
- Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty on curriculum delivery student success plans and program evaluation
- Maintain accurate student and clinical documentation and comply with FERPA and college policies
- Communicate professionally with students faculty and clinical partners
- Attend required orientations faculty meetings and clinical site briefings
Additional expectations:
- Coach students on leadership ethics communication critical thinking teamwork and professionalism
- Connect students with campus resources to support success
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Masters- and/or doctorate-level nursing degree
- 3 years of recent direct RN-level patient care experience
- Flexibility to teach clinicals required; flexibility to teach labs and/or didactic courses in other areas of the nursing curriculum is strongly preferred.
