A globally recognised leader in mining equipment tools services and technical solutions is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to join their team. The organisation is known for innovation operational excellence and a strong peoplefirst culture supporting mining operations across drilling cutting loading and hauling tunnelling and quarrying.
The Key Account Manager will oversee strategic customer relationships and coordinate all business activities across key mining sites. Success in this role requires deep customer insight strong commercial acumen and the ability to align operational needs with a worldclass product and service offering.
This fulltime role includes
up to 50% travel to customer locations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse account potential and identify future growth opportunities
- Conduct shareofwallet and opportunity analysis
- Ensure full compliance with a Global Framework Agreement
- Prepare budgets and investment calculations
- Develop implement and update annual account business plans
- Build strong relationships with mine management teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinated product and service delivery
- Maintain account activity updates and track business opportunities
- Provide insights on innovation and operational improvements
- Implement and uphold global EHS standards
- Contribute to reducing LTIFR
- Comply with SHEQ and all safety policies targets and KPIs
Profile Required- Matric (Grade 12)
- Formal qualification in business mining or engineering
- Computer literacy & English proficiency
- Valid drivers licence
- Knowledge of mining equipment and services (advantageous)
- Mine Overseer Certificate of Competence (advantageous)
- Strong sales business development and valuedelivery abilities
- Excellent communicator with strong relationshipbuilding skills
- Driven goaloriented proactive and customerfocused
