Join us for an exciting summer internship in BBC Commercial Rights & Business Affairs (CRBA) where youll gain hands-on exposure to the commercial rights and business affairs work that underpin the BBCs output. During the internship youll complete a single placement gaining valuable insight into the teams whose work enables the content audiences know and love.

What is CRBA


We negotiate secure and advise on BBC Group intellectual property rights commercial opportunities & distribution for TV audio and online across all content genres. We build key relationships with external partners create collaborations and shape underlying strategies; supporting productions acquisitions and digital transformation across the industry and drive public service and commercial ambitions.


This opportunity will be based in our Glasgow London and Salford offices. If you live outside of these areas we can support you with travel or accommodation.

Eligibility

CRBA plays a key role in supporting content that resonates with audiences from all backgrounds. To do this well its essential that our teams reflect the diversity of the people we serve. To be eligible for this scheme you must meet at least one of the three requirements below.


You must also:

  • Have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the scheme
  • Be available for the whole internship period from 1 July - 5 August 2026
  • Be at least 18 years old by the time the internship begins

This internship is designed to offer insight and experience to individuals early in their careers. It is primarily aimed atstudents in their final or penultimate year of UK Higher Education or have already graduated as well as those who have at least one to two years of experience after leaving sixth form/ S6.
