Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues ensuring the stability and performance of integrated systems.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve integration processes.
- Lead and manage integration projects from initiation to completion ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements develop project plans and allocate resources for successful project execution.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide project updates to stakeholders addressing any risks or issues that may arise.
- Document integration processes configurations and workflows for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with healthcare providers administrative staff and IT teams to understand their workflow needs and provide integration solutions that enhance efficiency and patient care.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use of integrated systems and applications.
- Collaborate with software vendors and external partners to stay current with industry trends and advancements in healthcare integration technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field. Related experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- 3 years of experience in software integration projects with a focus on system integration in the healthcare industry.
- Proven experience with integration technologies and standards such as HL7 FHIR DICOM and API development.
- Experience with health information exchange (HIE) and interoperability platforms.
- Certification in healthcare IT standards preferred (e.g. HL7 FHIR).
- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in healthcare IT.
