Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) has an excellent opportunity for a Bids & Contracts internship from June 15 2026 to August 72026working Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm)at our Lake Forest CA headquarters. The internship will include a team building/volunteering event over 3 different evenings within the program.

Summary:
The Bids & Contracts Intern position is a temporary entry level which will be involved in daily projects and activities associated with bids proposals negotiated and awarded contracts (administration and management) and business contracts compliance (post award activities that align with the contract aware). This is a hands-on learning opportunity where the Intern will learn departmental operations at TABS under close guidance and support.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely under the guidance of Department Management and staff to provide Bids & Contracts support including but not limited to entry level departmental tasks as indicated below:
- Daily Departmental projects
- Bids & Proposal Support
- Administration & compliance of awarded contracts
- Misc. post award activities
- Learn about departmental processes and procedures along with corresponding controls.
- Under management guidance support entry level activities.
- Work closely with management or more senior staff to learn how to generate and review departmental reporting (scheduled and ad-hoc).
- Assist with special projects as instructed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Sophomore junior or senior level undergraduate student or graduate student attending an accredited college in good standing or recent graduate (within six months) of an accredited college.
- Pursuing a Business Law or related degree or a closely related major.
- Must understand basic research contract law and procurement principles is desired.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks in contracts.
