Job Description
We are seeking anRPG Developer.This position is a comfortable fit for a person with wide-ranging mainframe experience.
The RPG Developer will be required to guide specific tasks from gathering and understanding business requirements through creating necessary source system programs system testing and then implementation.
What Youll Do
- Maintain and enhance applications that are already in production
- Able to interact with the user community; gather requirements
- Programmingtroubleshooting enhancing applications that are already in production
What Youll Need
Required:
- 5 years experience withRPG ILERPG SQL andCL programming
- Ability to read and program inFree Form RPG IVas well astraditional RPG IV
- 5 years experience inRPG SQLprogramming and creatingSQL tablesand queries on IBMi
- Knowledge of DDM (Distributed Data Management) programing techniques
- Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision
Preferred
- Experience using IBMi Navigator fordatabase analysis
- Experience with MKS Implementer a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
