Job Summary

Job Title: Mainframe Developer

Locations: Omaha NE; Barkley Heights NJ; Alpharetta GA

Job Responsibilities Include:

Collaborating with business analysts and project managers to gather requirements and design technical solutions
Creating and executing test plans to ensure application functionality and quality
Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
Troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely and efficient manner
Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest process improvements or new solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

5 years of writing testing and debugging COBOL programs using established coding standards and best practices
5 years of developing and maintaining JCL scripts to manage batch processing and job scheduling
5 years of designing developing and maintaining DB2 databases to support application data needs
5 years of writing and maintaining CICS transaction programs to provide online access to mainframe applications
