The Lab Internwill supportthe test and design engineerswith general device testing anddesign related activities.Areaof focus willinclude:
Support overall test laboratory activities including but not limited to test development gage R&R studies fabrication of prototypes coordination of testingand test execution.
Support design and prototyping related activitiesusingCAD and Design Applications:Solidworks/ PDM andPrototypingusing3D printersand various fabrication tools.
Create test procedures test protocols and execute testingas directed.
Support data analysis using statistical techniques and software.
Internship Development Opportunities:

Metrology:Calipers/micrometers pin gauges heightgage CMM.
Design/iterate fixtures and drawings.

Job Requirements:
This isafull-timeposition lab based (onsite)in Lexington Massachusetts.
There is no degree requirement.The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical or Bio-Medical Engineering student.
Strong communicationskills.(written verbal and presentation)
Ability to self-organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Working knowledge of SolidWorksoranotherCAD platformisa plus.
Knowledge about mechanical testing and statistics is a plus.
Internship Eligibility
Mustbe authorized towork in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship.
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later.
The internship program is 10-12 weeksdepending on the two start dates.(May 26th-August 14thor June 15th- August 21st)
The intern must be able to commit to one of thesetime frames.
Able to work full time40 hoursa week during internship dates.

The estimated hourly range reflectsan anticipatedrange for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidates school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will bein accordance withstate or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
