Job Description:

This is a remote unpaid internship suitable for graphic design students with strong illustration abilities and a desire to gain professional experience expert guidance and published portfolio pieces. We are happy to fill out any required forms for school credit.

Our Company:

ElectraCast Media LLC is a podcast-first entertainment media company. Our Mission Statement: To create community and amplify diverse voices through compelling entertainment and story. ElectraCast Records our associated music label distributes through Universal Music Group.

Responsibilities:

During your internship you will:

• Gain professional experience by performing Creative Advertising tasks such as Graphic Design for our Social Media Posts Logo Design and Illustration.
• Operate under the direct supervision of an assigned mentor who will provide training ongoing professional guidance and consistent feedback.
• Participate in weekly meetings (set for mutually convenient times).
• Set your own schedule 10-20 hours per week with flexibility in hours.

Requirements

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has a passion for design and promising talent has digital design skills and is both detail and deadline oriented. The ideal candidate is passionate about the entertainment industry.

Candidates must:

• Have 2 years minimum design work experience or education
• Possess strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Understand typography color theory layout design
• Have strong illustration skills
• Have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite especially PhotoShop and Illustrator
• Can thing and design with originality
• Video editing skills a plus

Required:

Applicants must be:

• 18 years old
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university in a design program or graduated within the past 12 months
• Authorized to work legally in the United States of America
