Job Summary
What functions will you perform
ID Energy Group is looking for a proactive and highly experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to join the Hungarian Finance Team. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic and growing company at a rapidly changing sector. The Budapest-based position supports the Finance & Accounting Manager and acts as a deputy when needed while independently managing financial tasks and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate is flexible solution-oriented and comfortable operating across a broad finance spectrum.

- Play a key role in ERP implementation and ongoing optimization
- Work cross-functionally with operational and regional teams (Spanish & Italian)
- Key contributor to the monthly/quarterly/YE financial close process perform accruals and provisions
- Support the Finance & Accounting Manager and acts as a deputy when required
- Prepare local financial statements (P&L Balance Sheet Cash Flow)
- Support Hungarian tax calculations and filings
- Participate in fixed asset accounting and depreciation review
- Monthly calculation of interests and foreign exchange revaluation on SHL
- Support group reporting to HQ
- Maintain reporting packages and consolidation inputs
- Intercompany (SHL) reconciliations between entities
- Perform cost analysis by country / BU
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses
- Monitor and forecast cash flow performance
- Participate in regular calls with Spanish and Italian stakeholders
- Support implementation of group finance initiatives locally
Your profile
- Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
- Minimum 57 years of relevant experience in Accounting
- Experience participating in ERP implementation project
- Strong understanding of financial processes
- Advanced Excel skills
- IFRS knowledge
- Native Hungarian knowledge is a must
- Excellent communicational skills in English
- High level of proactivity
- Experience with NetSuite
- Italian language skills
- Experience in the renewable energy sector
- Exposure to Italian finance environments
