What you will be doing in this role
Werelooking for caring motivated Registered Nurses to join our welcoming team in theEndoscopy andProcedure Centre at Sydney Adventist Hospital on a permanent part-time or full-time basis Monday- Friday.
Our Centre features modern operating theatres and a twelvebed PACU supporting a wide range of dayonly procedures for both inpatients and emergency department patients.
In this role you will provide comprehensive care across the Day Surgery Unit including pre-operative assessment anaesthetics post-operative recovery monitoring and discharge. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring patient safety comfort and high-quality care throughout their perioperative journey. You will also work collaboratively with gastroenterologists surgeons and anaesthetists and provide clear education to patients and families to ensure a smooth discharge process.
Whowerelookingfor
- Current AHPRA rego with a minimum of 2- 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse within an hospital setting
- Provenability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have strong time management skills
- Demonstratedelevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence
- Exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) withdemonstratedexperience professionally communicating with patientstheirfamiliesand colleagues.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week
- Full Australian working rights
