Supports the development of reporting and analytics solutions that drive operational clinical and financial decision-making across the healthcare enterprise. Learns healthcare data systems assists with report development and ensures data accuracy working closely with more experienced analysts and stakeholders.


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of standard and ad hoc reports dashboards and visualizations.
  • Modifies existing reports under guidance and develops basic reporting solutions from defined requirements. Helps document report specifications definitions and data sources.
  • Supports users in retrieving data and understanding basic report content. Provides training and support to others to ensure effective use of business intelligence reports tools and solutions.
  • Translates business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
  • Performs basic data validation and quality checks to ensure report accuracy.
  • Collaborates with senior BI analysts clinical informatics teams and business users to understand reporting needs.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data collection and analysis.

Education Requirement:

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems Computer Science Healthcare Administration or related field required.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively follow instructions and contribute in a team setting.
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and proficiency in writing basic queries.
  • Familiarity with at least one BI tool such as Qlik Power BI Tableau Excel or Crystal Reports.
  • Understanding of relational databases and data structures.

Experience:

  • Experience in data analysis reporting or healthcare analytics preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment or with healthcare data preferred
