Supports the development of reporting and analytics solutions that drive operational clinical and financial decision-making across the healthcare enterprise. Learns healthcare data systems assists with report development and ensures data accuracy working closely with more experienced analysts and stakeholders.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

Assists in the creation and maintenance of standard and ad hoc reports dashboards and visualizations.
Modifies existing reports under guidance and develops basic reporting solutions from defined requirements. Helps document report specifications definitions and data sources.
Supports users in retrieving data and understanding basic report content. Provides training and support to others to ensure effective use of business intelligence reports tools and solutions.
Translates business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
Performs basic data validation and quality checks to ensure report accuracy.
Collaborates with senior BI analysts clinical informatics teams and business users to understand reporting needs.
Identifies and recommends process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data collection and analysis.

Education Requirement:

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems Computer Science Healthcare Administration or related field required.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively follow instructions and contribute in a team setting.
Foundational knowledge of SQL and proficiency in writing basic queries.
Familiarity with at least one BI tool such as Qlik Power BI Tableau Excel or Crystal Reports.
Understanding of relational databases and data structures.

Experience:

Experience in data analysis reporting or healthcare analytics preferred.
Experience in a healthcare environment or with healthcare data preferred
