Position Summary
The Business Analyst I Export Operations supports global export activities by managing the order-to-delivery lifecycle and ensuring the smooth movement of products from North America to international markets. This role is highly operational and logistics-focused requiring strong coordination across internal teams external partners and global customers.
The position serves as a key point of contact for assigned accounts working to resolve shipment issues remove roadblocks and ensure timely accurate delivery. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining visibility across export orders supporting logistics transactions and improving overall shipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage export orders throughout the full order-to-delivery (OTD) lifecycle
- Monitor vehicle/product movement through ports and logistics networks to ensure timely delivery to global regions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for export customers logistics partners and internal teams
- Communicate order updates delays changes and issue resolution to stakeholders
- Identify and resolve roadblocks impacting shipment flow and delivery timelines
- Coordinate logistics-related financial transactions including rebilling and reconsignments
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers and partners to manage shipments and resolve issues
- Analyze and report on order status delays and performance metrics
- Support validation builds and pre-production order tracking including status updates and issue escalation
- Partner with cross-functional teams (logistics finance operations and product teams) to ensure alignment and execution
- Generate and review reports related to order issues production timing and shipment readiness
- Support system access reporting tools and issue resolution related to order management platforms
- Participate in demand planning logistics and operational review meetings
- Provide backup support for team members on critical tasks as needed

- Experience working with order management logistics or ERP systems preferred
Requirements
- 13 years of experience in logistics supply chain operations or a related field
- Experience supporting global shipping export operations or international logistics preferred
- Familiarity with logistics processes financial transactions and shipment tracking
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage changing priorities
- Comfortable working with data reporting tools and multiple systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with global export operations and international shipping regulations
- Prior experience working with third-party logistics providers or freight partners
- Exposure to manufacturing automotive or high-volume distribution environments
- Experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams
