Job Summary

About You

You are a DevOps Engineer who enjoys designing building and evolving modern software delivery ecosystems. You are motivated by improving infrastructure reliability deployment efficiency and engineering productivity through automation and cloud-native practices.

You feel comfortable working in Azure-based environments enabling scalable infrastructure and CI/CD processes while collaborating with distributed teams. You are curious about emerging AI-assisted engineering workflows and open to integrating these tools into your day-to-day DevOps practice.

  • Note: This position is offered under a contractor model for an initial period of 6 months with the possibility of extension.
    This role requires the ability to work onsite at the Gurgaon office two days per week.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

  • 4 years of professional experience in DevOps SRE or infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Strong exposure to Azure cloud services including networking databases and identity management.
  • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
  • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with identity and access management solutions such as Entra ID and Okta.
  • Proficiency in scripting using Bash PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or Azure Application Insights.
  • Exposure to application deployments across modern stacks (e.g. React Python SQL-based environments).
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor Claude Codex or GitHub Copilot (nice to have).
  • Understanding of cloud governance and multi-environment setups (nice to have).
  • AWS knowledge or exposure (nice to have).
  • Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator or Terraform Associate (nice to have).

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design implementation and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation platforms such as env0.
  • Manage and optimize Azure cloud services including networking identity and platform components.
  • Design implement and maintain CI/CD workflows that enable reliable and scalable software delivery.
  • Enable monitoring observability and performance optimization using tools such as Datadog and Azure Application Insights.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support application deployments and improve overall delivery processes.

Qualifications :

  • 4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
  • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Conversational English proficiency.
