We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years Coordinator to join our team and provide strategic leadership across Hume Council Early Years Services operating under our Early Years Management (EYM) model. This is a pivotal role for a dynamic leader who thrives on building strong teams driving best practice and ensuring highquality early learning experiences for children families and communities.
What youll be doing:
- Provide leadership coaching and guidance to a team of Early Years Leaders.
- Oversee service performance compliance and continuous improvement across 34 early years services.
- Champion highquality pedagogy evidencebased practice and consistent implementation of the approved learning frameworks.
- Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Department partners community organisations and families.
- Support services through change growth and innovation.
This role is ideal for someone who is energised by complex operational environments and has the capacity to influence quality outcomes at scale.
The skills and experience youll bring to the role:
- A tertiary qualification in early years education family and/or community services with extensive experience working in the early years sector
- Proven experience leading early years services ideally in an EYM or multisite context.
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework regulatory requirements and best practice approaches in early childhood education.
- Confidence in coaching mentoring and building the capability of leaders and educators.
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A passion for fostering environments where children families and educators thrive.
