The Department of Chemistry at the University of South Florida invites applications for two 9-month full-time non-tenure earning Assistant Professors of Instruction with an anticipated start date of August 7 2026. Salary is negotiable.
The primary responsibilities for this position will include:
Teaching undergraduate chemistry courses including general and organic lectures potentially in a coordinated manner to ensure consistent instruction to students across multiple sections;
Contributing to curriculum development and continuous course improvement;
Participating in departmental duties including service on committee work and collaboration with teaching and learning partners;
Assisting with TA training evaluation and instructional support.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. from an accredited institution in Chemistry or a closely related field.
Demonstrated commitment to effective undergraduate teaching and student success.
