Job Summary
- Communicates with internal partners and external clients to provide superior customer service to support retail or routine accounts.
- Provides information for clients (e.g. Pricing Capabilities Status Sample Submission)
- Submits and coordinates client requests for re-testing additional testing OOS investigations and changes that are needed.
- Performs data entry into NIMS EOL CLQ and other databases as appropriate.
- Coordinates conference calls with clients as needed.
- Coordinates client visits as needed.
- Contributes to assigned process improvement projects and supports implementation when needed.
- Schedule: Mon-Fri 9:00am-6:00pm
Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge skill or ability required.
- Bachelors in a scientific business or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1 years of related experience (Food Science or Customer Service) preferred
- Excellent customer service skills attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact
- Demonstrated computer skills requires excellent MS Office experience (specifically Excel Word Outlook)
- Demonstrated ability to plan multi-task and prioritize
- Demonstrated teamwork communication and organizational skills
- Experience in a scientific or logistics environment is a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work to many deadlines at one time
- Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with internal and external clients
- Positive attitude and sense of urgency
- Thick skinned and able to take and give difficult news
- Able to accept responsibility for company errors
- Ability to learn new tasks
- Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Reside within a commutable distance to Madison WI lab.
Additional Information :
- Flexibility to participate in meetings across various time zones outside core working hours
- Occasionally working extended hours in order to adhere to client deliverable timelines
