Senior Knowledge Manager, Engineer Tech Writing

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Knowledge Manager Engineer Tech Writingis expected to be able to accomplish the following:

• Acquiresmaintainsan understanding of and leverages knowledge aboutbusinessactivitieson behalf of the organization.
• Provides the transfer of knowledge sharing so that the organizationknow-howinformationand experience is shared inside and (asappropriate)outside the organization with clients partners and stakeholders.
• Promotes knowledge sharing through the organizations operational business processes.
• Strengthens links between knowledge sharing and the information systems and improves integration among information systems in the organization tofacilitateseamless exchange of information across systems.
• Promotes collaborative tools such as activity rooms tofacilitatesharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners.
• Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice including workshops one-on-one guidance and troubleshooting.
• Shares experiences across communities of practice business units and networks on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing including preparation of case studies.
• Helps tomonitorand evaluate the knowledge sharing program including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities.
• May supervise more junior team members.
• Maintains communications on knowledge sharing across the organization participation in orientation and training sessions and preparation of brochures/presentations.
• Familiarity with developing and delivering knowledge sharing programs and with the companys or customers information infrastructure.
• Experience inestablishingeffective partnerships within and outside the organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• ActiveTS/SCI CI Poly clearance
• BS 10-12 years of relevant experience; MS 8-10 years; PhD 5-7 years
