Sentara is hiring an Operating Room Manager/Manager Surgical Services at Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach Virginia.
Shift: First Shift call required.
Overview
This role will support 11 ORs performing over 8000 cases per year.
Assume responsibility and accountability for operations and success. Responsible for the delivery of high quality services which meet or exceed customer expectations. Position is responsible for safe management of patients throughout perioperative experience. Serve as mentor by role modeling a professional practice consistent with surgeon expectations organizational goals customer service clinical effectiveness patient safety and clinical standards of care.
This role has support from an OR Supervisor 3 Unit Coordinators a Lead Surgical Assistant and has Service Line Leads for all departmental services.
Education
- BSN Degree REQUIRED
- Masters level degree in nursing PREFERRED
Certification/Licensure
- Virginia RN License REQUIRED
Experience
- 3 year OR experience REQUIRED
- 3 years leadership experience REQUIRED
- Strong leadership and communications skills are a must.
