Job Summary
Location: Southbury Connecticut
A well-established community-focused healthcare organization in the Southbury Connecticut area is actively seeking a full-time Neurology MD to join its growing neuroscience team. Position Overview
Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations and management
Diagnose and treat a broad range of neurological conditions including stroke epilepsy headaches neuropathy and movement disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate multidisciplinary care
Collaborate closely with primary care providers hospitalists and specialty teams
Interpret and oversee diagnostic testing (EEG EMG imaging etc.)
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
Optional inpatient consult coverage depending on interest
Opportunities to participate in quality improvement and academic initiatives
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure
Active or eligible DEA registration
Fellowship training (e.g. stroke epilepsy movement disorders) is a plus but not required
Strong clinical communication and team collaboration skills
