Onsite Full Time 37.5 hours per week

We are working with a well-established and growing engineering business that continues to invest in its people as it scales.Due to continued growth they are looking to appoint a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support ongoing hiring across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a recruitment professional who enjoys owning the full end-to-end hiring process or someone from a sales account management or coordination background looking to move into an internal recruitment role.

You will play a key role in shaping the candidate experience and supporting hiring activity within a fast-paced technical environment.

This is a position where you will have real autonomy working closely with the Recruitment Manager while taking ownership of day-to-day recruitment activity.

The Role
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager you will take full responsibility for managing the recruitment lifecycle from advert creation through to offer stage.

You will support a wide range of hires with the majority of roles sitting across mechanical and software engineering so confidence in handling technical vacancies is important.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing and posting engaging job adverts across LinkedIn Indeed and social platforms
  • Managing applications through an ATS system
  • Screening CVs and conducting initial 30-minute Teams interviews typically 1215 per week
  • Managing a high volume of applications while ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Coordinating interviews with hiring managers and arranging logistics
  • Supporting practical assessments and assessment centres including graduate recruitment
  • Preparing interview packs and ensuring processes run smoothly
  • Acting as a key point of contact between candidates and hiring managers
  • Producing recruitment reports tracking KPIs and supporting recruitment planning
  • Working closely with the Recruitment Manager on resourcing plans and hiring strategy
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

The Environment
This is a fully onsite role within a collaborative office and manufacturing environment. You will work closely with hiring managers across the business and be part of a supportive People and Culture team.The business offers a high level of autonomy with no micro-management allowing you to take ownership of your role and make a real impact. Please note due to the location own transport is essential.

About You
We are looking for someone who brings both recruitment capability and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced technical environment.

You will be:

  • Experienced in end-to-end recruitment either in-house or agency (typically 23 years)
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple live vacancies
  • Confident conducting screening interviews and engaging with candidates
  • Proactive energetic and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable using ATS systems and recruitment analytics
  • Confident building relationships with hiring managers and influencing decisions

Experience or interest in engineering or technical environments would be highly advantageous. This could include previous recruitment within engineering working in a technical business or a genuine interest in the sector.

This role would also suit someone from a coordination account management or sales background with strong organisational and communication skills who enjoys building relationships and delivering results.
