Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar. The role involves leading the team maintaining service and hygiene standards controlling costs and ensuring an exceptional guest experience while achieving sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations ensuring high service and quality standards.
- Manage food and beverage inventory control wastage and maintain cost targets.
- Lead train and supervise staff while preparing duty rosters and schedules.
- Ensure accurate cash handling POS operations and daily sales reporting.
- Maintain hygiene safety and compliance with all operational standards.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with suppliers and management on ordering pricing and promotions.
- Drive revenue through upselling and effective implementation of promotions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 35 years of experience in restaurant and bar operations with leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant SOPs service standards and hygiene practices.
- Experience in inventory management stock control and cost management.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems and reporting.
- Strong leadership team management and staff training skills.
- Excellent customer service communication and problem-solving abilities.
