Whats the role
Youll play a key role in how Westpac understands and manages model risk across Financial Markets and Treasury. Working within the Model Risk team youll independently assess valuation risk and capital models used across trading and banking books covering products across rates FX and commodities.
This role is handson and varied. Youll review complex models build and enhance independent validation tools and clearly explain outcomes to senior stakeholders. Youll also help shape strong model risk governance and support the development of junior team members sharing your experience and judgement along the way.
Its a permanent role based in Sydney offering exposure to a broad range of financial markets products and meaningful involvement in critical projects that matter to the bank and its customers.
