The Director of Sales and Marketing will develop implement and maximize the business plan with effective strategies through Team leadership direct sales community outreach integrated marketing and revenue management. This person will ensure effective internal and external communication with clients associates and ownership and our community. The Director of Sales and Marketing will direct the solicitation response and negotiation efforts of the sales team while overseeing rate date and space commitments for group banquet and catering customers; along with development and management of all negotiated rates and accounts. The Director of Sales and Marketing has primary responsibility for maximizing total hotel revenues including all rooms segments food and beverage (including restaurant and bar revenues) and other ancillary revenues. Must provide attentive courteous and efficient customer service to all guests clients associates alike according to HHG and Westin Dallas Southlake standards.
High school diploma or GED 6-years of experience in hotel sales/convention services management food & beverage or related professional area preferred or
2-year degree from an accredited university in Hospitality and Hotel Management Business Administration or related major 4-year experience in hotel sales/convention services management food & beverage or related professional area; or
Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Hospitality and Hotel Management Business Administration or related major 2-years experience in hotel sales/convention services management food & beverage or related professional area.
