KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
All expectations are related to the SE domain area on a time zone perimeter
- A contribution is made to the creation or updating of group guidelines and requirements.
- A contribution is made to the definition and implementation of the zones strategic plan for its domain (roadmap)
- A regulatory oversight process is in place to implement the obligations of the entities in the area.
- The level of compliance of the regions entities with laws/regulations and Michelin requirements is monitored.
- Michelins interests are represented and potential risks or opportunities are anticipated through participation in external guidance or professional networks or ad hoc studies with stakeholders.
- Organizational technical normative and regulatory developments that could have an impact on risks are detected and analyzed and action plans are implemented.
- Expertise is provided to sites and entities in the area in carrying out risk analyses including through SE advice when requested on projects.
- Inter-site alignment of tools and methods is ensured in particular through calibration procedures.
- Working methods and tools are defined and implemented to ensure risk management compliance and SE performance.
- Good practices and lessons learned from events (accidents experiences anomalies) are capitalised on and are the subject of possible cross-functional actions
- A mapping of SE risks is regularly updated and the level of control of these risks is at the expected level.
- The indicators are reliable representative and communicated in a timely manner.
- Participation in inter-zone networks and the coordination of intra-zone networks ensure the coherence of actions and support the Groups SE performance.
- The contribution to the SE communication plan of the zone is ensured.
- Audits and internal control tests are carried out in the entities of the zone and allow a relevant analysis of the performance.
- The Management Review of the area (SMEP) is carried out annually.
- The level of business skills and the availability of field staff are measured and an upgrade plan is implemented if necessary.
- Technical support is provided to the field staff to enable them to develop their skills (training module coaching mentoring). The certification process is implemented when it exists.
Options A: SE coordination in the country
- If necessary coordination of the monitoring of the compliance of the sites with the laws and regulations of the country allows for a homogeneous and relevant response to the administrations / authorities of the country.
- if necessary the interests of the countrys legal entity are represented and defended before the countrys authorities and stakeholders.
Options B: SE representation in the entity
- Where applicable the specialist is the SE focal point of the entity: SE issues are taken into account in the orientations objectives investments and strategic plans of that entity. The necessary trade-offs are made.
- If necessary SE issues are taken into account in the succession plans of the entitys stakeholders.
