Job Summary
Salary - up to $65000 depending on experience
Job Brief
We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities. You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. A CNC operator must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metals and their properties is essential.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Determine the appropriate tooling and forming methods based on drawing requirements
- Set up machines in according to specifications
- Misc manufacturing processes. Package Countersink Time Save deburr Daily machine P.M.
- Align components using calipers rulers clamp pieces etc.
- Assemble fabricated components
- Repair machinery and other components as needed
- CAD design (Solidworks) as needed
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Requirements
- Proven working experience as CNC Laser Operator CNC Brak Operator & CAD (Solidworks) 5 years
- Experience using a variety CNC fabrication equipment. Setup and calculation of bend deduction and part adjustments for material compensation.
- Experience adjusting CNC Laser/Brakes. Nest and sheet utilization
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Use measuring equipment. (Calipers & Tape measures)
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
- Deftness and attention to detail
- Stand for long periods of time 6 8 hours a day
- Lift-up to 50-80 lbs.
- Able to obtain a forklift certification
- Team Player and ability to work overtime when required.
