TheOffice of the CEO Communications team at GM isseekinga highly organized detail-oriented and driven Communications Senior Manager to join our team. This isanopportunity to work at the highest levels of corporate communications supporting one of the most respected leaders in this role you willlead core communications operations for the CEOs communications team owning and continuously improving key systems processes and internal and external engagements that shape the companys global reputation.
Youllwork as part of a small and highly strategic team with a focus on corporate storytelling media engagement and executive positioning. This role offers an inside look at the decision-making and leadership strategies that drive GM.Ifyou are an experienced leader who wants tobe part of a team that shapes the narrative of a global brand we want to hear from you.
WhatYoullDo (Responsibilities):
Social & Speaking Engagements:Leadthe planning and execution of CEO appearances including conferences and internal company events.Ensure contentlogistics and follow-through align with the teams strategic priorities. Own elements of the CEOs social media strategy including content planning approvals and performance measurement in partnership with brand and digital teams.
System & Process Management:Oversee andoptimizecommunications team operations ensuring smooth workflows across email correspondence briefing document development and engagement tracking.Use data and feedback to streamline processes andidentifyopportunities to increase quality and consistency across CEO communications.
Opportunity Management:Monitor and field inbound requestsincluding a high volume of media inquiries speaking invitationsand customer needs.Own intake triage and strategic recommendations on where and how the CEO should engage.
Yours Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Bachelors Degree.
6 years working in internal and external communications for a C-level executive.Experience leading complex initiatives with high external visibility and reputational impact.
Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to shape messaging engagement strategies and decision-making.
Experience designing and improving communications systems briefing workflows content approval pipelines and measurementframeworks that support enterprise outcomes.
Strong writing research and analytical skills with an ability to distill complex topics into clear and compelling messaging.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to see the bigger picture of what needs to be done remain unflappable under pressure and stay nimblewhenchange is needed.
Professionalism discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
A team-oriented can-do attitude.
