OBGYN MD ( Obstetrician & Gynaecologist ) | Full-Time

Location: Southbury Connecticut

A well-established community-focused healthcare organization in the Southbury Connecticut area is actively seeking a full-time OBGYN MD to join its growing womens health team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive collegial environment with strong referral networks and access to modern labor & delivery and surgical facilities.

The organization maintains an academic affiliation with the Yale School of Medicine offering opportunities for teaching mentorship and professional growth.

Position Overview

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings

Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies prenatal care labor & delivery and postpartum care

Perform gynecologic surgeries including minimally invasive procedures

Conduct annual exams preventive screenings and contraceptive counseling

Diagnose and treat a broad range of womens health conditions

Collaborate closely with primary care providers maternal-fetal medicine specialists and hospital teams

Participate in shared call coverage

Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure

Active or eligible DEA registration

Strong clinical surgical and team collaboration skills

Commitment to patient-centered womens healthcare
