Your new role

Our Catalyst Rehabilitation Program is a structured group-based treatment program delivered by a team of experienced clinicians. The program provides evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Enhancement Therapy to support individuals in addressing harmful alcohol and other drug use.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to support the development and delivery of high-quality evidence-based therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.

This role is focused on facilitating meaningful behaviour change and improving participant outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering behaviour change interventions to support individuals to reduce or cease harmful alcohol and other drug use

  • Assisting participants to build and maintain healthier substance-free lifestyles

  • Supporting participants to understand the relationship between substance use and criminogenic behaviour

  • Equipping participants with relapse prevention strategies and skills to manage high-risk situations

Your skills and experience

You will bring with you:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Health or Welfare such as Social Work Psychology Nursing or Allied Health Sciences.
  • A recognised Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) skill set or willingness and ability to complete this within two years of commencement.
  • Demonstrated experience working with AOD clients including individuals with dual diagnosis and/or forensic backgrounds.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive alcohol and other drug assessments and delivering counselling interventions.
