We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager - Business Management.
In this role you will:
- Perform administrative and office support activities for individuals or multiple managers.
- Create and modify various documents using Microsoft Office.
- Verify expense claims from users of Global Banking and Markets according to established policies. Perform any required procedures and verify information for every expense claim with appropriate business approval and correctly allocate to cost centres/project accounts.
- Input data for all expense claims through e-Expenses FUSION system. Perform any required procedures for invoice payment to vendors and recharge intercompany through FUSION Procurement.
- Perform System Apps application via Group Service Request System. Promote the value of challenging the status quo seeking to improve ways of working and having a forward-thinking mind-set in line with the Groups values and strategy.
- Leverage expertise from within the CIB COO team the wider CIB teams the Regional CAO teams as required.
- Contribute to the development of a high performing CIB COO team with a clear vision focused on orchestrating the strategic change agenda and driving tangible customer outcomes. Demonstrate good governance and control in line with Group policies ensuring appropriate governance is developed to inform the progress of strategic initiatives.
- Support the continuing development implementation and improvement of the COO processes structures capabilities capacity and infrastructure needed to deliver agreed plans and targets collaborating with colleagues to maximise cost visibility optimisation and strategy.
- Maintain a robust control environment through the adherence to internal controls procedures record keeping and the timely implementation of issues or audit/regulatory recommendations.
- Initiate and/or undertake activities ensuring that risks / issues are escalated and reported through governance. Ensure that operational risks are fully assessed prior to the execution of a delivery escalating where required
To be successful you will:
- Minimum Graduate in any discipline (preferably Commerce background)
- Sound understanding of HSBC structures processes and objectives across the Group.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel PowerPoint. SharePoint workflows is essential.
- Good analytical skills capacity to process complex information and synthesise key themes and issues.
- Demonstrate proactive attitude and able to work under pressure.
- Have an ability to solve the problem with efficiency and meticulous to details.
- Experience working with Fusion and POs
- Experience working with MS Office tools (Ppt Excel) (Essential)
- Project management skills
- Proven experience of positive challenging interactions within the bank.
