Base SalaryisPer 2026-27 Salary Schedule plus $9000 Annual Flat Salary Stipend

New Teachers are offered a one-time salary advance opportunity to increase their August paycheck. We want to assist in all ways possible through the transition into the teaching profession.

Paid Leave: 4 Personal Days; 9 Sick Days; 5 Bereavement Days; Civic Leave; and Professional Leave as determined by administrators. Certified staff also administer a Sick Leave Bank that all certified staff are eligible to join on an annual basis. Teachers who are parents or guardians of an FPS student can also use up to 4 sick days per year to attend FPS-sponsored activities for their child.

Retirement: FPS is a member of the Nebraska Public Employee Retirement System and contributes to the defined plan per Nebraska statute

FPS provides all certified team members long term disability a $10000 individual life insurance policy and quarterly perfect attendance bonus opportunities.

JOB TITLE: Instructional Technology Integrationist (Certified Contract 25 days)

REQUIREMENTS:

Education Level:

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Masters Degree Preferred

Certification/Licensure:

  • Nebraska Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement required.

Experience Desired:

  • At least Five years of successful teaching experience
  • Expertise with and experience in Instructional Technology
  • Experience providing technical support in the educational environment
  • Experience in Curriculum Development Program Coordination or Instructional Leadership preferred
  • Experience in developing and leading PK-12 Professional Learning and providing coaching support with adult learners preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g. Canvas Google Classroom Schoology etc)
  • Familiarity with School Information Systems (SIS); assessment platforms tools and testing environments; online instructional resources and textbooks; and integrating systems
  • Ability to coordinate develop and provide professional learning and ongoing coaching support to adult learners
  • Effectively utilizing excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of and work with instructional or educational technology frameworks (SAMR TPACK ISTE Standards) preferred

COLLABORATES WITH: Technology Directors Teaching and Learning Team and Staff

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions of each employees position includes (1) regular dependable in-person attendance on the job; (2) the ability to perform the identified tasks and to possess and utilize the identified knowledge skills and abilities and to perform the identified work activities; and (3) the ability to perform the physical requirements on their specific job description.

Basic:

The Instructional Technology Integrationist position works with district teachers staff and administrators to ensure high quality learning experiences for all students; coordinate curriculum assessment and instructional practices; facilitate collaboration; and advance continuous improvement efforts aligned to the districts goals through the effective use of technology. Coordinating student and teacher system updates device deployment and maintaining technology devices are integral components of the position. The integrationist is able to sustain involvement with long term projects and assignments and remain flexible and positive with the demands and assignments of the job.

Frequent and Additional Duties:

  1. Coordinate district Artificial Intelligence efforts
  2. Lead data analysis and implementing district data protocols
  3. Assist in the research and preparation of materials for use by the district
  4. Assist in research and provide information and guidance regarding a range of effective innovative practice through various activities such as: individual discussions (formal and informal) study groups staff meetings grade level meetings and professional learning programs/sessions
  5. Maintain paperwork consistently appropriately and in a timely manner
  6. Maintain the confidentiality of schools teachers and classrooms.
  7. Attend professional development conferences and technology certification opportunities
  8. Teacher technology helpdesk resolution in a timely manner
  9. Troubleshooting hardware software network and classroom technology issues
  10. Maintain and support devices including student chromebooks projectors desktop computers and classroom peripherals
  11. Support account provisioning password resets and system access management
  12. Coordinate device deployment inventory tracking and lifecycle management
  13. Other duties may be assigned.

This position works closely with other coaches and supports the literacy and curriculum coordinators.
