Job Title: Product Manager (Finance)
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 19 Months (Possibility of extension)
Location: Milan IL 61264
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Represent customer needs to product and engineering teams
Own and prioritize the product backlog
Define product functionality and feature priorities
Manage end-to-end product lifecycle
Align product direction across product families
Identify key customer problems and business objectives
Make final decisions on product functionality
Define features acceptance criteria and user stories
Manage release scope timing and communication
Track and communicate product success metrics
Collaborate with UX architecture and engineering teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups sprint planning reviews)
Own legacy finance systems supporting Parts operations
Ensure system stability and business continuity
Maintain system documentation and process knowledge
Ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
Support internal and external audits
Validate financial impact of system changes
Communicate risks tradeoffs and constraints
Must Have
Degree in business finance engineering IT or equivalent experience
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes
Experience with legacy systems or ERP platforms
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize work in high-risk environments
Proven cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience leading through influence
Nice to Have
Experience supporting legacy systems during ERP transformation
Background in supply chain or manufacturing operations
Experience working with Finance and Audit teams
Knowledge of regulated or compliance-driven processes
Prior industry-specific experience
