About the Role
The Economics Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across GCSE and A Level Economics developing students analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The role also involves supporting enrichment activities including finance clubs competitions and enterprise projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across KS4 and KS5
Assessing student progress and providing targeted support
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Supporting extra-curricular opportunities and enrichment projects
Participating in departmental meetings and collaborative planning
Candidate Requirements
QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Degree in Economics or a related discipline
Experience teaching GCSE and A Level Economics desirable
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Enthusiastic and student-focused approach
Legal right to work in the UK
