Job Summary

About the Role
The school is looking for an engaging Economics Teacher who can inspire students to develop analytical thinking financial awareness and a strong understanding of global markets and economic theory. Economics is a growing subject at Sixth Form with increasing student uptake and positive outcomes.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering well-structured lessons assessing progress and implementing targeted intervention strategies. The department works collaboratively to refine curriculum content and ensure students are prepared for further study and employment pathways.
There is also opportunity to contribute to enrichment activities such as enterprise projects debate clubs and university preparation programmes.
The Ideal Candidate
QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Degree in Economics or related discipline
Experience teaching GCSE and/or A Level Economics
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to inclusive education and high expectations
Reflective and collaborative practitioner
