Position Summary:

The FP&A Intern will support the Corporate Finance team with budgeting forecasting and financial analysis. This role provides hands-on exposure to financial modeling management reporting and data analysis while working closely with FP&A Accounting and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with budgeting forecasting and long-term planning activities.
  • Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
  • Help update financial models and income statement forecasts.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and summarize trends to support management decision-making.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Support data validation and reporting using Excel and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams on reporting accuracy.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables lookups basic formulas); interest in financial modeling.
  • Basic understanding of income statements balance sheets and cash flows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Coursework or internship experience in finance or accounting.
  • Exposure to Excel Power Query or financial reporting tools.
  • Interest in corporate finance FP&A or data analytics.

Work Environment:

  • 5 days in office with hands-on collaboration.
  • Mentorship from experienced FP&A professionals.
  • Exposure to real corporate financial planning cycles.
