Position Summary:
The FP&A Intern will support the Corporate Finance team with budgeting forecasting and financial analysis. This role provides hands-on exposure to financial modeling management reporting and data analysis while working closely with FP&A Accounting and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and long-term planning activities.
- Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Help update financial models and income statement forecasts.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and summarize trends to support management decision-making.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling.
- Support data validation and reporting using Excel and Power BI.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams on reporting accuracy.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables lookups basic formulas); interest in financial modeling.
- Basic understanding of income statements balance sheets and cash flows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Coursework or internship experience in finance or accounting.
- Exposure to Excel Power Query or financial reporting tools.
- Interest in corporate finance FP&A or data analytics.
Work Environment:
- 5 days in office with hands-on collaboration.
- Mentorship from experienced FP&A professionals.
- Exposure to real corporate financial planning cycles.
