Job Title: Risk & Claims Adjuster (Auto Property Cargo Material Damage)
Job Summary:
The Risk & Claims Coordinator supports enterprise risk management activities by overseeing internal claims handling maintaining accurate RMIS data and coordinating compliance and asset tracking processes. This role ensures timely claim reporting supports Workers Compensation administration and manages insurance documentation across the organization.
Job Location: Hybrid out of Addison TX or Mount Pleasant TX
Pay Range: 50-60k
Key Responsibilities
Claims Administration
Manage internal Auto Property Cargo and Material Damage claims handled within company deductibles or not reported due to limited liability exposure.
Ensure all claims are accurately entered into the RMIS platform (Riskonnect) within 48 hours of receiving completed incident documentation.
Maintain claim diaries monitor activity and follow up with stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
Workers Compensation Support
Enter First Report of Incident (FROI) details upon receipt from Safety HR or Operations.
Coordinate and distribute modified duty offer letters when required to support return-to-work initiatives.
Insurance & Compliance
Manage and fulfill Certificates of Insurance (COI) requests through Riskonnect.
Provide casualty renewal data and reporting to support underwriting and broker submissions.
Review and process items for CCPA compliance ensuring proper documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Monitor vendor partners to ensure ongoing compliance with company risk and insurance standards.
Asset & Driver Management
Track enterprise assets including vehicle registrations titling and title releases/approvals.
Upload driver information into Riskonnect obtain MVRs background checks and verify insurance documentation as needed.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in claims risk management insurance operations or compliance.
Familiarity with RMIS platforms (Riskonnect or similar) preferred.
Working knowledge of auto property cargo and workers compensation claim processes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage diaries deadlines and multiple requests.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking/reporting tools.
Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to enterprise risk management programs.
Experience coordinating COIs renewal data or asset tracking.
Understanding of regulatory and privacy compliance requirements (e.g. CCPA).
