Purpose of Position
This is a part-time non-benefitted position.
Applicants will assist with the Altitude Chamber operations and may assist with the UND Aerospace Helicopter General Aviation Trainer Spatial Disorientation & Visual Illusions trainer for corporate helicopter pilot clients and UND Aerospace helicopter students.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operations will include pre-flighting the simulator.
- Safely loading students into the simulator.
- Preparing and loading predetermined computer scenarios.
- Instructing students
- Safely removing students from the simulator
- Shutting the simulation system down.
Required Competencies
- Detail & Safety Oriented
- Excellent communication skills
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must possess a Certified Flight Instructor certificate
- Working knowledge of aeromedical factors simulation devises and computers.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
