A detailed Curriculum Vitae.
Copies of your qualifications or official proof of qualifications obtained (If you hold foreign qualifications please include SAQA accreditation).

Confirmation of employment in the form of a letter appointment contract service certificate or recent payslip from your current or most recent employer (applicable to external applicants only).
Duties and responsibilities:
Perform monthly reconciliation of petty cash.
Arrange travel and accommodation bookings for the department.
Create interdepartmental journal transfers for internal ad hoc services rendered.
Ensure that procurement of goods and services is in line with the procurement and finance policies.
Obtain quotations from prospective service providers as requested by the department.
Ensure correctness of invoices with respect to all goods procured and services rendered.
Ensure goods and services are procured against the correct entities.
Verify monthly departmental expenditure (entities).
Generate monthly reports of expenditure per entity.
Keep records for finance-related documents (quotes invoices POs)
Process invoices for payment.
Ensure all ad-hoc securities purchase orders (POs) are done e.g. during registrations graduations protests etc.
Manage the assets register.
Balance all daily discs sales and paid traffic fines.
Create invoices for external stakeholders who make use of our ad hoc security.
Ensure that correct and relevant documentation is saved on the SharePoint for each transaction.
Perform monthly inventory stock takes.
Keep track of all ad hoc events and request POs and send journal requests (internal) and invoices (when external).
Order and issue of stationery and keeping record thereof.
Perform regular asset audits and inform the assets division of any changes.

Inherent requirements:
Grade 12 or National Vocational Certificate on NQF level 4 (attach a copy).
Relevant experience relating to the duties and responsibilities.
Valid South African drivers licence (attach a copy).

Recommendations:
One (1) year of relevant working experience related to the duties and responsibilities
N6/ National Diploma in Finance or Supply Chain Management (attach a copy).

Salary:
The annual remuneration package including benefits is R 231699.90 R 388426.59 per annum depending on the budget available for the position relevant work experience and qualifications.
