Job Summary
This team is the backbone of our Global Markets business (one of the largest of its kind in the world) and combines sophisticated 24-hour global coverage with a detailed knowledge of local markets and specialises in foreign exchange credits and rates structured derivatives equities and debt equity and equity-linked capital markets.
Markets Operations is responsible for driving every part of the trade lifecycle post-execution. This team manages settlement activity risk and control adherence to regulatory compliance and seamless operational client service across 58 countries and territories.

Report To: SVP Derivatives Operations
- Handle day to day BAU operational process on global market products with focus on FI/Derivatives including but is not limited to trade reconciliation affirmation confirmation settlement and regulatory reports.
- Cooperate and coordinate an efficient operation for Derivatives Business.
- Ensure all the transactions undertaken are processed properly documented accurately recorded checked and settled in accordance with local regulations and group guidelines policies and standards.
- Ensure adequate Systems /control procedures are well established to cope with business requirement and protect HSBCs interest
- Provide immediate and professional response to customers query and support business to deliver best client service as one team to enhance clients experience.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or Business
- Relevant experience and responsibilities in Banking
- Sound knowledge on global markets products & operational procedures
- Details oriented fast learning ability Numeric sensitivity and aggressive personality
- Sense of operational risk
- Good communication skill
- Strong PC skills
- GPAD Covered
