The Position

Thorough cleaning of the kitchen including dishes and floors
Maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment
Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment
Assist with deliveries including pack away ensuring correct stock rotation processes are followed
Adhere to health and safety procedures when caring out all tasks
Assisting our Chefs with food preparation
Cleaning dishes with a commercial dishwasher
Fast paced environment

The Person

Must be able to obtain a Working With Children Check
Experience in a commercial kitchen highly valued
Eye for detail and great with time management
Physical fitness to tackle this hands-on role
Strong work ethic punctual reliable and trustworthy
Good understanding of Basic Food Handling procedures and allergens
Ability to work as part of team and unsupervised
Strong communication skills and professional personal presentation
Safety mindset
