As a Security Officer - Unarmed Walking Patrol in Memphis TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or calls for service document observations and support site teams with clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including promptly communicating with site contacts and dispatch and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production-adjacent areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify conditions that require attention.
• Control access at gates doors and restricted areas by verifying authorization issuing visitor directions and monitoring vehicle and foot traffic according to site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs document unusual activity and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and reporting concerns through the proper chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
